  • Drive your car.  Car radios usually have much better reception than home receivers.

  • Use an antenna.  Attach a simple two-wire dipole antenna to the back of your home receiver, like this one.

  • Even better, use a more sophisticated FM antenna outside on a pole or in your attic space.

  • Make sure you are using a quality receiver.  Not all FM receivers are created equal and you usually get what you pay for.  So avoid the junk.
